After recently viewing the artwork of Opie Otterstad at Newbury Fine Arts I am inspired to do more sports related artwork. I painted this oil painting as a wedding gift for our friends this past summer. If only I spent less time watching Boston sports teams and more time painting………….

The following artwork was all created by first treating the paper, then applying paint and dawing over the dry paper with oil pastels; This is one of my favorite techniques that I learned in my college pastels class.
